In the new world of Realm, order and peace are the dominant forces,
alongside magick and legend. The work of the
Outsider has restored balance to Realm. But now a new hero would
be needed to face the new dangers Realm faces, some just as dark as any other.
Some, even worse. Many of the enemies found in this game
can be traced back through Kingdom and
Revolution, revealing Realm's epic
struggle against the servants of Hell.
Ascendants continues the story of the world known as Realm, saved by the Outsider. But it is still a troubled place. And a young man named Jonathan Sommers would begin to experience amazing changes within himself. Given gifts beyond normal humans, he would need to come to grips with his extraordinary destiny as the new protector of the defenseless while struggling to hold onto the ones he loves. Founding a private agency dedicated to stopping superhuman criminals with the help and guidance of the Sovereign Angel, Jonathan and his friends would help those in need against the forces of evil and Oblivion.
