Long before the time of
Jonathan Sommers and the Guardian Agency, before even the time of
the vampire Gabriel, far
back into
the days of chivalry and codes of honor, there was an extraordinary kingdom
called Justice. Created by friendship with freedom for everyone it became
a beacon of hope for the world of man and the center of all that was good in
Realm. But as time went on, Justice would fall victim to many enemies and
many wars and struggled to remain standing and strong. In the end, Justice
was forced to protect itself and was no longer able to defend those outside
beyond its borders. Evil flowed across the lands as the other kingdoms
each sought their own selfish desires. Worse, the forces of darkness
roamed free throughout the country, bringing death and torment to all.
Now, the new heir to the throne, Princess Alanna, has witnessed the pain
throughout Realm beyond her father's domain—and has chosen to redeem her home's
namesake.
But even with the gifts she has been given and a crusade as just as hers, she will discover that she needs help still. And from the most unlikely place will come a brash, young warrior who shares her same passion to aid those in need. And together they will need to learn to tolerate each other's own beliefs and conflicting personalities if they are not only to help others but to survive themselves against the dark forces arraying against them.
